Tell yer what.......after the 2-3 last year I was stunned, gutted and numb, I was embarrassed how little fight we had in this years defeat at home.

We won this one by being well organised and having a fighting spirit, cant ask for any more, one thing I have learned is that come next year (if we survive) we could be on the wrong end of a tonking, so its its best to savor the victory without going over the top

Not really Acido, the smooth foreheaded bloke in gm_gm's avatar got it right when he said Yorkshire people hate each other. I'd even take a Lancastrian over them lot in the West.

Just look at your own board, they all hate Sheffield and Sheffielders with a passion - seething with hatred. And you won't thank me for reminding you of this but the comments you made about the striking South Yorkshire miners were some of the most disgraceful things I've ever read on this network. gm_gm would have given you a like though.

Its the same in any county Kat, its shouldnt happen but fans can and do get quite heated about their local rivals more than any other teams.
But as I also asked in another thread, I think we all prefer it to continue and see other teams go down instead (those teams who we have no connection with).

Seriously though, that point is debatable to be honest and Id also say that not all fans at every club think the same and shouldnt be tarred as such. For example I post a load of cr*ap on Footymad regularly, so dont tar the rest of us with this eh
