[quote="theplater"]Another draw at home and Wolves have Carl Ikeme to thank for the point. Three excellent saves made by the Wolves keeper, one in the first half, and the two right at the end that he tipped over. Blackburn had the better chances in the game as pointed out above and also hit the post.

From a Wolves perspective, i feel we never really got going and again as with the Ipswich game reverted to lumping the ball forward, this despite having two small forwards on the pitch in Le Fondre and Mason. The delivery of the ball from corners, free-kicks and even open play left a lot to be desired, especially with the corner kicks, ball rarely beating the first man.Creativity and also giving the ball away again was a big problem. I can can understand the ironic cheering when Wolves only real shot on target that Sigurdarson had. Players often have to take gambles in football and one teasing ball in from the right fro

Eve' and Gav', I fully understand your reluctance to expand upon any rumours concerning Kmac (especially in this day and age of litigation) however, if the reason for his continued absence from the starting line-up arises from conflict between he and KJ I would be greatly disappointed ( though not surprised). As 'Plater has commented elsewhere on this forum, amongst our current squad, McDonald is probably the player most able to create and thread a probing pass from the middle of the park through to those entrusted with the business of scoring goals. Sure, he's had his days when he's gone missing, but don't they all ? For the life of me I cannot understand the reason for his recent absence from the starting line-up (last week he didn't even make the bench !!).
