Diving has always happened, and always will.
If you do it well, you get a pen/free kick etc. Do it badly, a yellow.
I'd argue if an OBVIOUS dive for a pen, then straight red, but otherwise i'm happy as it is. Not sure why it upsets some SO much?

How is getting sent off and receiving a 2 match ban benefiting the team? How can anyone blame a referee for getting a decision wrong when he is constantly being manipulated / conned?
Diving / winning a foul, is no different to tripping someone on the halfway line to prevent an attack, it's cheating and should be punished as such.
