    Just had a thought !

This club has been around a few years now....but the years with the Pursehouse family were stone age seasons for infrastructure of the club.

    Young Anton spent what the
    Pursehouses saved and more....

Millers 18-30 group of inteligencia couldn't negotiate a piss up in a brewery

Earth people and that loan wolf were ****E hawks .....and

Young Denis was our last minute saviour but - let's say - it didn't work out for him and he ended up being banned from the ground....

OK brief potted history.....but my point is Sir Tony is the first EVER chairman of Rotherham United that has put the infrastructure of the club into the 18th Century.

How long has our club been under his control and look what we've got!

So to say we haven't got this that ant tuther is a little premature - that is for the age ( in TS years ) of the wonderful football club.

We are a club that's only just entering puberty let alone coming out of our adolescence.

Just think - Wednesday and Sheff U have been big clubs for decades - Barnsley had the Premiership money ( and spent it wisely )

The training ground (and other nice bits) will come and it will be worth having and we have had one hell of a ride under TS and there isn't a true miller that hasn't enjoyed every minute....

We are a new club under TS - a totally different breed of club that any Miller of any age has witnessed....so ......

Patience - our history is really only just starting.....UTM

A bit unfair to 05 who did their bit to save the club.

They found the job too big but had a go when others sat around mourning and moaning the likely demise of our club.

05 had at least a couple of lifelong supporters in their small group and they gave of their best including a bit of their own money!

    We are still going down...

Warney is still a press ups man.

Brecks is a Hospitality greeter and Hammy a Juniors coach.

Still no training ground and poor infrastructure etc

It's impossible for those players to put that effort in weekly and they are still not good enough.

The first line is the point of the post for those that missed it.

We may have been better off losing!

Fair play that Kempo - but negotiators they were not....but as you say the stood up when others did not.....they deserve praise for that.....and for that matter all those that gave time and money to help the club......

One story I heard about one interested party offering a lot of money to Booth to help the club......but there's money and there's MONEY....!

Booth apparently told the guy to keep his money in his pocket as the money offered wouldn't make a dint in numbers the club needed .

Good of them all - post not aimed as being disrespectful - more an appreciation of what we have now....

Glass half full and all that !
