I like Warne but those substitutions today we're really poor and cost us the game imo. I can see why he wanted to take Yates off and bring Smallwood on to go 451 because we were getting over runned in midfield but if your gonna go with 1 striker on the field then you should never take Ward off and bring Blackstock on as we lose that pace up front for counter attack and he took the pace completely out of the team by taking Taylor off and fetching Mattock on in his place who isn't a natural winger.

I think overall the substitutions we're way too negative especially for an home team because it just invited them on even more and defensively we are shocking to hold out a result, we're better when we more positive offensively.

Thought home support in numbers was pathetic. TS must be thinking why do I bother then we'll be f*cked.

Ajayi much improved. Adeyemi our MOTM. Problem is no other striker apart from D Ward. Blackstock may as well have been sat with me.

Both Ward & Taylor were injured .

Ward - calf / top of achillessons tendon

Taylor - a knock from a foul tackle that was not given.

Bringing Smallwood on released Adeyemi to be more adventurous and he scored but Yates is simply ineffective - Blackstock came on and looked like a championship player - Yates shouldn't be on the pitch !

Probably a good job Hudders rested their first team or we could have taken a beating

Obj you really are a moron, the only reason you're backing Blackstock is because he's a Stubbs player, seriously,is he your dad ?

That's the best I've seen Blackstock play tbh, more games and he might just turn out ok.

Ward and I imagine Taylor were both subbed due to picking up knocks so understandable.

O'Donnell is the third choice keeper or a reason, ffs where is Price?

Ajayi had a better game and gets on the score sheet
MOTM Adeyemi and what a goal!!!!!

Overall the team played better and it was disappointing we didn't get a point but yes the attacked in the last ten minutes to win the game, we don't do that do we

Our best two players play for Cardiff!!....Bodes well for next season.

Warney loses another game..How many is that..I will get the Abbacus out!

Only TS could consider Warnes as our manager..

The player who irritated the hell out of me last night was Vaulks. He ran around like a headless chicken, chasing shadows for the entire match and I don't think he actually touched the ball more than a couple of times. He has an uncanny knack of getting there just too late!
I agree with Millertop about Blackstock who I thought did reasonably well in the short time he was on the pitch. He certainly won more headers than Ward had been doing.
If Ward's injury is significant it might be that Blackstock will have to start on Saturday so we should get a fairer assessment of his capabilities.
Overall, the team had a good go last night but it's so obvious that many of the players are simply not good enough and, sadly, neither is the interim manager.

Terrific 5-2 win for the Millers tonight. The recovery starts now! Yates hat-trick justifies his inclusion and if there's a better right back in the championship than Kelly I've yet to see him. Midfield totally outran them making their numbers 8,9 and 10 look rubbish. Great atmosphere from the Millers supporters. Couldn't hear the Huddersfield fans at all. Another classic NYS night............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..............................Well if you lot can type sh1te hours before the game, I can hours after

    Towner....calling me a..... "moron"...?

And then you write that garbage....sad !

I'm "backing" 'Good shootin Dex' because he is a current Rotherham United player that is an asset to the club.

Can I suggest that the real morons on this site - the infamous 'moron 100' only knock Blackstock and other players simply because they were Stubbs players. Without credible reasons.

I remember when every player Stubbs brought in was rubbish - but those idiots are now eating their words. Adeyemi being our best player now ! And others forming the backbone of the team.

    No......look at Blackstock' record.

Too many simpletons who just read headlines / rumours / other idiots posts and believe them.

He runs like a "player" - with intent.

Yates runs like he's not quite sure what he should be doing.....he's a bench warmer at max. Everything breaks down near him - he's not quick in mind and body. Not good enough.

OK he's a current Rotherham player and perhaps he'll grow up but so far I'm not over confident about that.

The rumours of Blackstock' wages being exorbitantly high are just that - rumours.

    Go on - have a guess !

    How much is he on?

But surely you will know won't you !

I've asked the question of two "in the know" posters" and there was £2500 / week difference.

Sticks and stones my illegitimate friend.

Stick to the millers and don't attack others - those that live in glass houses - and all that !
