    Naw-then magic

Warnsey's done a lot more screwing our season up than Stubbs.

A pathetic budget and zero professional infrastructure has screwed this season up - nothing else.

From time to time I read some common sense on this board and then this. How gullible are you to only see what others suggest is the truth.

Were you there at Newcastle at home ?

Were you there at Huddersfield away when we scored the perfect counter attacking goal - only to be robbed by the referee......again.

60% of budget paying for old - slow existing player bought on good contracts and no longer fit for purpose.

Can you provide a definitive figure for the statement "Silly Money"......and how can you change the culture of a football club in 13 games.....

Stubbs ( supported at one window ) would have us safe now....and as on another thread - Vaulks and all his AS bought compatriots are now our best players.

Not forgetting Stubbs forsight to know about and to be respected by Chelsea to loan Stubbs Izzy Brown - and we would have him still if our fitness coach wasn't our manager.

Come on lads - smell the coffee .

IBS, I can assure you 100% that Stubbs had very little to do with Izzy Brown coming to Rotherham, the deal was organised by another former employee. I can also assure you that Stubbs had the highest wage budget in the club's history, the highest transfer budget in the club's history and was unpopular at the club from day 1. Tony Stewart offers Stubbs the job after seeing the Scottish cup final, he was impressed that after losing the promotion play off game, the Hibs players responded and won the cup.The performance of Hibs this season has shown how badly they had underperformed in Stubbs' reign. Stubbs trebled his wages at Rotherham and saw the club as a stepping stone. His reputation is in tatters and he will struggle to get a job in league 2.

And what are we saying now???

Never mind that, why, when you can see my username, do you then misspell it? is it on purpose?

PS: I can't miss out the Ward stats

    1 / 2 under Stubbs
    1 / 6 after Stubbs....

Under Warne.....is Ward still at the club ?

Stubbs long term - would have transformed our club into a professional outfit and a team full of youth brought in by a management team that served Everton up to 19 years with great success.

They knew the youth system of the Premiership intimately - hence Izzy.

Reading back over the comments many made about Stubbs and his players - I see some are gradually starting to realise some of the qualities these players had - a new team / squad / homes and many on MM simply screamed blue murder calling them all rubbish and worse.

You deserve this season for the disgraceful barracking Stubbs got...and as the Rotherham United manager at the time I fully supported him.....

He was working with severe restraints and was making progress - and shuffling to pack to see who could do what .

    13 weeks.....pathetic.....

His sacking cost us the championship !

    Sounds like we disagree.

You refer to facts that are unsubstantiated.....

I refer to what we all saw at Newcastle home and Huddersfield away....progress !

"Stewart offers Stubbs the job after seeing the Scottish cup final, he was impressed that after losing the promotion play off game, the Hibs players responded and won the cup.The performance of Hibs this season has shown".......

What a great job Stubbs did starting from 6 professionals at the club ! A total rebuild !

The way Hibs played was magnificent and a credit to the manager - Stewart was right to be impressed....

We would be playing like that if Anti-Social media hadn't panicked TS to sack AS.

Given half a season and a window is an absolute minimum to judge a manager....13 weeks is a bloody disgrace!

Oh - and being unpopular at a football club isn't an issue - the existing players that were no longer fit for purpose were being targeted as useless and destined to go under Stubbs.....no wonder he wasn't popular !

Wood was dropped as was Halford - only getting back in the side due to injuries. They were the main culprits to letting goals in - but in the first window they were gonners......and now Wood is hoping to stay....

He wanted Stubbs gone the most I would suggest because Wood was simply not good enough for a future side based on youth....something Stubbs and his team would have been uniquely qualified to do.

FFS.....do some serious research and don't follow the MM crowd - you'll end up in Woolworths...lol

lbj, are you naturally a cretin or did you have to work at it? Tony's info is invariably pukka. See also my comments on Hibs after Stubbs. Your analysis is flawed, arrogant, insulting to others and you are (probably intentionally) driving people away from this MB.

My rrse. My thoughts were "arrogant w*nker". Disappears off the site for yonks and comes back with a verbose listen-to-me extravaganza and all the muppets fall down in adoration. Mardy Turniphead is an rrse and the site is far better without him. What next? The sad busker gino popping out of his reality TV life to say hello. Ffs!!!

    Oh Monty.....

    Ambitious but RUBBISH !

"Tony's info is invariably pukka"....We'll that alright then ! But don't put too much money on his acuracy - do your own research....

Are you having a personal dig at me for not following the crowd - well NOT agreeing with the vast majority on MM is
    tantamount to being vindicated.

Quick test for you and Tony....who and where was this said:

    "Ambitious but RUBBISH".....or was it...

    "Ambitious but SH#TE"

Anyway - who and where ?
