I can't see why people are getting het up about the fee, as reported by the press. It is what it is in every transfer deal.

As to the move I think we have got a very promising player based upon what he did at Forest. My only worry is that he is another wide player and surely we have priorities elsewhere within the team. Even if we cash in on Jonny Evans I suspect we may be tempted to blow the lot on his replacement so I cannot see how that improves the team.

I agree that Leko must surely go out on loan now. I thought that Burke would replace Chadli but latest reports are that Swansea have gone cold on the deal. If that is the case I can't see how we can fit both Burke and Chadli into the team no matter who we play.

Please please please can we have a left back and hopefully someone who can score goals on a consistent basis.

You don't actually think Pulis will play him in his correct position do you?
He'll be on the bench for the first two months as he won't be "up to speed"

Hope Pulis realises that it doesn't matter if he is up to speed or not...he will still be quicker than 80% of our squad...

What do you mean it is what it is in every deal?

When we want to sell season tickets we shout from the rooftops we've paid a club record £12m on rondon't for example.

When we haven't spent a massive amount we make it "undisclosed " and swain feeds bull sh!t to his old reporter buddies, like the Birmingham mail reporting we paid 18m for Burke and sky sports stating it is a fee that could rise to 15m.

I, personally, want transparency in our transfer dealings so we are told the truth about outgoings.

If the powers that be are doing a pompey and wasting money and putting the future of the club at risk, I'd rather know.

So you get het up by the lack of left back purchases and I'll get het up by undisclosed fees.

Can I remain un het up by anything?

Do you think he will continue with Brunt at left back? There seems little room for him in midfield now.
Maybe Nyom and Dawson right back if Evans stays or is replaced.
If Chadli stays I see very few starts for him either.
The team has gone from looking threadbare and relegation probables to the best outfit we've had for quite some time with just 4 signings.
I hope Rondon stays and gets his head right otherwise up front is the biggest problem.

Our best form of last season was when TP inverted the wingers played Phillips on the Left, & he did well there, so the question should be "where does that leave McClean?"

Hopefully not at LB!! (unless the play Sado on the right wing tomorrow, in which case I will look forward to 90 mins of McClean kicking him up in the air )
