Leeds game Camp found the injury he wanted. Camp that was worse than KJ. Was still getting his wage but didn't want to play for us. Halford got injured. Odemwingie got sent off. Squad was bare, couldn't sign no one till January. Stubbs had blown the budget in so weren't much in the kitty for players. KJ thought can't do anything so went. He wouldn't/couldn't have done anything. Stubbs had seen to that so what's it matter.

The situation was very simple. KJ put together a plan as to sort the team and club out. He presented this to the Board and they said no. He was told he couldn't bring in his own coaches and that there was little to spend.

As much as I love RUFC, I can't actually blame him. He was brought in as an experienced manager and they wouldn't back him. Another sign of the arrogance that comes from TS.

I've no idea what went on and don't care too much. But KJ is highly regarded by many in football, I have heard he is a man of integrity and his word and I think to suggest what happened was simply a case of a coward bottling it is almost certainly unfair. I am not going to denigrate a man until I have the whole story.

Perfectly understandable reaction Yak but would you still think the same if Donald Valley's assessment of the situation turned out to be correct?

The whole thing about this is KJ must have had a good look around with all the facilities, seen all the squad and sat and had lengthy talks with Stewart before he put pen to paper so knew what he was letting himself in for.

We were nowhere near the January transfer window so I can't see where money had anything to do with it.

KJ for whatever reason just didn't have the fight in him to take on what was a mammoth task.

    Probably not mellow.
But I genuinely don't believe that to be true.
Kj came here with opposition teams and we generally gave them a tough game.
I think he thought he was inheriting a similar type of team and when he realised it wasn't he bolted.
