The 'good' and the bad about the debt is as you say, Ghost (in terms of the 'good' bit)-the 'debt' is to Ashley himself so we're not in danger of going into administration in the same way we might be if we owed the money to someone else and they called it in. However, the bad bit is that it still exists and he's added it to the overall price of the club (not saying he should/shouldn't) which might bump the price beyond what an investor thinks is reasonable.
