    Strange situation with Long, he must have something which the management team value, even if it is only shown on the training ground.
    He is now our longest serving player and has only played a handful of games for various reasons. I think that he was unlucky when he was injured at Newcastle after just 20 minutes on the park. He would have had an opportunity to progress during that season but the rug was pulled out from under his feet and he has virtually had to start again from scratch.

    A strange one for me too Supersub. If he was having game time he would have a real chance of playing in the WCQ for Eire.

    He always seems happy enough and is invariably ready when called upon, but surely the lad must want to play some bloody football?

    Awesome tonight Ben, slightly caught out once in the second half but that happens to them all, 10 out of 10 for me, absolutely superb.
