There is a plan B and a plan C. Warne went with a very bold formation at Donny and he did it again today. Two defenders off for a Striker and an attacking midfielder and Shrews went totally into their shell and couldn't get out of their half. We should have won it then but we huffed and puffed and weren't able to unlock the door. Very disappointing

But....the reason we went Plan B and then C in the last two games is because we were already losing.
The problem is that we always start the match with the plan A team selection and formation. Teams have worked us out and we're too predictable. It's crying out for D Ball or JCH and sacrificing a midfielder

The second big problem that's coming home to roost is that the plan A formation and selection isn't playing the same way. Before it was a pressing, possession approach whereas now it's boot it up field and surrender possession.

The annoying thing is that Keiffer is equally adept at close ball control on the ground as he is in the air so we don't actually need to hoof it to him. He's scored loads by shooting rather than heading

We only started attacking when formation changed at 60 mins so yeah 451 don’t work for us. Yeah we are leading goal scorers but you won’t keep like that by having 1 man up front

Scoring 1 but letting in 2 gets you no points.

We could be the top scoring side in world football but if we also let in more than we score then we’re going to fail.

Remember in football you start with a point before a ball is kicked.

Why should the players try if 90% of the stadium goes home.
    In it together.
    To me it depends on

Time left to play (I go in extra time only usually I hate the pushing and shoving at end of match, if you judge it right you only miss 1 min)
How many goals we are down ( iv only ever left a match early twice and that was towards end of last year, the fact that I turned up took up all should be enough)

There’s a guy behind where I sit that leaves on 80 mins no matter what no idea why

He is probably a centre half for the dog and duck and he’s going to his car to collect his boots, hoping to come on as sub.

Do we still have an academy? Have any of these players come through our system.

Good game if you're a Shrews fan or a nuetral.
Penalty save, a sending off and a last minute goal due to poor defending again.
Credit to Paul Hurst & his side, out-thought & out-fought us.
    JCH for Cummings
    Frecks for Wood
and 5mins after Wood went off Hursty introduced a fresh striker in Carlton Morris.

Can't wait for the Wigan game....more of the same methinks.

EDIT : not even half-way through the season & lost 8 already in a bang average League 1.

Not even comment much on the game because it's the same old bollox.

Warne and Barker should have resigned straight after match they really haven't a clue.
