When did McDonald return.? Was it Cardiff? Why has this “Ilness”he has lasted so long? Cold? Flu??? Definitely not an injury then? Illness? Maybe there’s been a bit of argy Barry we don’t know about and it’s unsettled the squad.

Well obviously we need to sack Hecky because we're not in a play-off position... or maybe because we've lost four in a row... or because performances have dipped... or because we don't agree with his selections/tactics/formations... or because these young lads haven't turned out to be world beaters...
Or maybe because we're all a bit down int dumps and there's nothing better than a public hanging for cheering folk up.

Jesus wept, I don't know what some fans expect these days. We are what we are, and yeah the entertainment value hasn't been great lately, but that's how it goes. We're not in the bottom three and that's all that matters this season. Hecky's not beyond criticism, but sacking him...?!

I think the ceremonial sacking ham is being basted as it stands.

Let's tell it are it is shall we- Heckys gained promotion and kept this club comfortably in the Championship in his 2 seasons in charge. Exceeded expectation and is doing so again this season cos we ent been in that bottom 3 yit. That's the bottom line.

I ain't suggesting at all that he's beyond criticism cos that'd be wrong. Of course he's made mistakes but he's not a frigging magician. The remit was to survive last season which he easily achieved despite having his team decimated. The remit this year is survival yet again. He's not doing too bad imo. If he does keep us up this season then it'll be his biggest achievement yet.

Let us not forget that Hecky is still a novice manager, still learning and cutting his teeth the hard way. He dunt bullshyte us or treat us like fools as previous managers have done. Cut him some slack.
Like😊. Survival was the aim this season, from many of you who are complaining now as well.

You all know more than me about the quality of players we have signed this season but if there is promise, they do need time to gel.

Incidently do any of you think that we have made any good signings this year?

Yes Jonnyboy. That's what makes it all the more frustrating watching Brad Potts start every game. I think Fryer's and Mccarthy have looked good when they have played.

Pearson has looked a better centre back than a full back. Williams get's stuck in and had his best game in a two alongside Mcgeehan against Hull. I think Thiam has looked good but needs a run of games alongside Bradshaw.

Barnes has been the stand out for me. He can score and create goals. He's got that touch of class about him. I'd take a chance on the 4-4-2 though.

Play Mcgeehan and Williams as a midfield two with Barnes on the right and Hammill on the left. I'd have Thiam and Bradshaw as the two up top.

I've mentioned Mallan a few times, I'd give him a shout (in the creative role) if we are to persist with the 4-5-1.

Why the f*k did Hecky make so many ludicrous pointless changes for the Cardiff game eh, and what was it about 5 or 6 changes for that one game, and it didnt prove a single positive thing did it ?.
Thats upset our form by doing that and now for whatever reason, we're desperately struggling to find it again and it feels like the pre-season all over again where we havent got a clue whats going to happen next, and who our best players are and what our best formation is etc.
Other than that though and certain relegation this season, lets wish Hecky the messiah a happy christmas eh.
