To be fair, Slater must have been lined up and has come in tout suite, in what is probably our currently most pressing position of the team what with the injuries and all. It would be a marquee signing right enough but there's an article from a Plymouth newspaper on Tekel Towers saying he's hardly kicked a ball & isn't even amongst the 1st team subbies.

I think he is a player that plays off the back of admiration and he would get that, and then some, back at us.
Keep thinking about the post that he had in the tully/courier when he was departing, he clearly has admiration for us and the club.
The only thing i think is the stumbling block is the wages, unfortunately.
