I'm afraid we have blown this in January

Russell going was bad timing mainly due to the disruption of the squad, but the biggest failure was the lack of transfers of quality to get us over the line

Jerome ,an ageing unplayed forward from Norwich and Palmer an unfit non playing Chelsea loanee

We had the chance, lying second and looking good, three or four quality signings was needed

Ive. Just been listening to Rowetts as I'm driving home Wow Garry what are you on about saying I thought we played well and they got two lucky goal We were out thought out fought out played and definitely out classed Nothing as surprised me today there are players in that team who don't hurt when they lose to many over thirties Fulham have a squad of 31players and only one is 30( Tim Ream ) Looks like we've lost Thorne and Huddleston now so back to BJ in midfield QPR Tuesday can't see us getting anything there I would imagine Matt Smith to murder us in the air As for Sunday think we can forget that as well

Well thank God the weather and frozen pipes stopped me from going to that...saved £40, fifty miles and three hours of my life.
Listening on the radio it sounded like, after the disallowed goal, heads and concentration went and we were outplayed.
Tbf many, especially Manx and mista, have identified Fulham as a major threat for some time but where do we go from here?
Have a feeling this season’s fate might be sealed by next Sunday evening.
Who’s to blame? No idea...whoever decided we were strong enough in midfield and didn’t need an injection of mobility and fight for one.
We also seem to have a problem with extending contracts...give Ledley one and he’s immediately injured...extend Thorne and Keogh’s and their form deserts them. Stoke come sniffing so give Rowett a rise and look what happens...we haven’t performed since that same week at St. Andrews.
God knows why it keeps happening but I have a horrible feeling of deja vu...self fulfilling prophecy or are we just crap?

Thorne handed a new contract aswell and i have no idea why, the bloke has done nothing for this club in nearly 4 years, 5 good games and hes a messiah to some.

Rowett made the mistake of dropping players that had us 2nd, nuge and vyds are the 1st 2 on the team sheet if fit.

It keeps happening because we have no bottle as a club, including the fans, but the fans have witnessed this rubbish for years now so cant blame them.

Rowett will be gone soon and the whole cycle starts again.

I don’t think Rowett will ‘be gone soon’ and I hope that’s not the case.
We do seem to suffer from a lack of belief though...players and fans alike...and it is beyond me why no manager has properly strengthened midfield since the days of Nigel Clough...just inexplicable.
Question...have we got a stronger (more saleable) squad now than a year ago because it’s certainly a lot older...possibly too old to challenge next season?

I don't think we'll challenge next season if the squad is the same, and tbh do we really wanna challenge? if this is always the end result its not healthy for a football club, just look at what's happened to Sunderland constantly fighting relegation season on season.

Rowett will be gone because Morris hasn't got any patience, first real downturn in results and performances and hes quick to anger and ends making rash decisions. Clement had just come off a decent 1 1 draw at Fulham and was gone 2 days later,, although Clement was boring and demotivating to be fair.

Rowett will be staying but he needs a dose of reality!! As mistaram says re. GR's post match interview the guy is deluded!! They were better than us end of! We have spunked 20 mill on Butterbean, Johnson, Weimann, Lawrence et al and they just ain't up to it. I could weep!!
