Gulp.... it's actually over 37 years ago...
Beat them 4-0 in the FA Cup 22/11/80. I went to the game, and by a strange coincidence have the match programme in front of me now. Ronnie Moore got 2, plus rare goals from Peter Carr and Ashley Taylor.

In the programme Boston gave , in retrospect rather optimistically, details of date, admission prices,etc, to Millmoor, in the event of a replay being needed. (We went on to be Division 3 Champions that season).

Played "Thotthingham" (as Ossie Ardilles used to call them) in the FA Cup 4th Round 1971/72 season (L 0-2)
Just noticed that in Round 2 that season ....guess what?... we knocked out York City .... guess what?... after a replay... Drew 1-1 at York, won 3-2 at Millmoor. Somebody at the FA should have tried shaking the bag up a bit - we've had a ludicrous number of cup ties against York over the years - no wonder they were high on the "most played against" list
