It says something when players like Moncur and Moore are our two star players, and why ohh why by the way has it taken this long in the season for Moncs to show that he IS capable of that sort of midfield performance.
Regardless of whether I and many of us predicted a loss for us today, I dont take this result/draw as a positive and Im struggling to take any consolation from it at all. The only good thing about it is if we carry on giving it a go like this in the remaining games, then surely we will give ourselves a massive chance, and thats all Im asking for right now.
Whether we want to have a go at Jose for apparently trying to sit back on the 2-1 in the 85th minute, well thats another argument altogether. But he cant be blamed for both Moore and Potts missing blatant sitters, and the fact that their defender should have been sent off in just the 5th minute. But the ref bottled it, again, as usual, in matches against us.

I feel like Im ranting again here so I will end this reply now and have another beer to try and chill out!!.
From what I've seen of Moncur and my personal opinion is that he's what I'd call a fanny .

A luxury , alreight when he can play but not so good when he's to dig or find solutions when it's not quite going his way .

If you want an example of a proper midfielder then Redders was your prime example , his performance level never dropped win , lose or draw , got the very best out of himself with the attributes he had .

If I was HC I wouldn't trust Moncur because there's nothing I can rely on in a relegation fight , good today but what about away at Forest on Monday ? , me neither ..

I wouldnt argue with your comments there on Redders Animal, and let me throw king Ronnie into the mix as well eh when we talk about the genuine 5 star talent we've had in the midfield over the years.
I know Moncs has had more than enough chances but then again they have mostly been scattered and inconsistent (like his performances eh!). If he could be given a regular place where hes good at what he does, like today, and maybe with a regular partner or two in midfield around him to build something up with... then I still think we've got an asset there.
If we're going to put him and somebody like Potts out wide/on the wing etc. then it just shows what a waste of talent we have while we're trying to accomodate and even force these short term loanees into the team.

I feel your pain Ponte, and describing it as a scab is a great analogy - you know and wish you could leave it alone but still you keep at it.

Another forum I post on are currently debating which of the teams we've yet to play they'd least like it to be who sends us down.

Can't remember a time when the clubs fortunes had me feeling so disillusioned, I used to look forward to it but probably only get to one or two games between now and the end of the season - just can't be arsed after the Millwall game ( no offence to Millwall by the way)

    That it's come to this.

You charged us £32 for adults and £17 for kids. We're charging £36 for adults and £5 for kids. We asked your club at beginning of season to charge £25 a ticket n we'd do same but you refused.

Both ridiculous prices but it’d cost me more to go with my lad to Bramall Lane than it would a Sheff U fan and his son at Oakwell
