According to Scape Goat Hair "Mr Morais was our first and only choice" Who knows how the monumental c0ck up was made. Was he recommended to one of the owners who knew a Man U owner/director who had told him a bloke who worked with Mourinho was available ? I can't recall the job being "advertised" but it must have been circulated somewhere for Ross to apply. Did Mr Morais spray out lots of applications around Europe and this one stuck ?
Apparently he was interviewed by Goat, James Cryne and Zak, the club accountant. Was it a token interview with the decision already made ? According to the owner of BBS, that Gally bloke, the recommendation to appoint Mr Morais was put to the owners and went through 5 votes to 2.
Anyone looking at his C V must have at least been curious as to why he had had 18 jobs in 19 years, only four at Head Coach level lasting 19, 7, 23 and 14 games (finishing with 15 at Barnsley).
The mind boggles how he got appointed. He must have bullsh1tted and pillaked them at the interview. Let's hope the lesson has been learned because it is the same group doing the appointing.

Quite possibly the worst appointment in charge of first team affairs in the club's history , surely even this collection of Wacky Races cartoon characters couldn't make an appointment that out did that given that Spackman would be a significant improvement .

    Wonder if Sol's applied ?

None of us can be 100% sure about these negative thoughts can we, but I bet the majority of us are thinking the same and these could be worrying times ahead, if they havent been already for the past 16 months.

This next appointment needs to get the fans back on board , something we can believe in and the hope that better days lay ahead .

An appointment that say's yep I get that and I can buy in to it .

Another non descript foreign coach we've never heard of isn't going to inspire confidence and confidence in the decision makers is at a pretty low ebb in my opinion .

You bring in an appointment we get and we start the season poorly we will stick with it , you bring in some fecker who was an assistant at Nantes and he won't get two minutes if he doesn't hit the ground running .

Feck this I ain't apologising for it because that's what we are at this club , we ain't changing our culture for you feckers because it's the other way round , the sooner you realise that then the sooner we are all singing from the same hymn sheet .

    Get to it .

Ive done my best to take this on the chin this week Animal but relegations arent good which ever way you look at them, and its now really starting to feel like a slap in the face. And this latest debacle over refusing to allow one of our best and most popular players to stay on for another year maybe, really is setting a much darker tone now for these next few years ahead.

I totally agree about this being a bums on seats type appointment and fans really do need to be brought back on board because even those hardcore 7,500 will eventually walk away if this decline isnt halted with some sensible ownership.
