With his mate potentially taking over at the Rams could it be that 2+2 does make 4?

Do we really want JT at DCFC?
    How many oldies you want?
We're already the dad's army of the Championship.
New young players needed to rescue a sinking ship.
    New investment Mel!

Some are saying Mick Mac's paddy whack of an Ipswich side played no less attractive football than anybody else in the League. I disagree. As with all of his sides they have a way of playing. Last few seasons DCFC fans have repeatedly moaned in the lead up to an Ipswich game that McCarty's teams are thugs and will kick us off the park...... taking lumps out of our players. They weren't wrong. No thanks Mick Mac

Lamps turned Ipswich down over money. Now, whether that was salary, transfer kitty or both I don't know but I am certain that, if he is, as expected, announced as our new manager today he will be on a decent wage at a level comparable to our highest paid players and that there will be some transfer funds available. Otherwise he wouldn't come to us.

Transfer funds available I hear GR saying....... I have asked the question before "has MM put together a story that persuaded GR to leave for Stoke and bring in a 2M transfer fee rather than sacking him and having to pay 2 or more million in compensation"?
