Oh, aye, they did and they were raw and powerful but I think the hype that surrounded them was more about how folk wanted something different from what was round at the time...Britpop was just a bit too arsey, trying too hard and Oasis took it back to basics. Originally Posted by AP69

). Oasis have been very entertaining to follow, but after their first two albums most of what they did was just rubbish.
