I think Lascelles WANTS to be here especially with Rafa. I think he will stay and if the worst happens re Rafa next summer Lascelles will go as well. If Rafa stays he stays OR he makes the same level of improvement as last season and we sell for £50+m next summer even if Fatso and Rafa thrashed things out for the good of the club. Let’s not forget he’s only 24 so has plenty of time.

He is better than Leicester. For stepping stones if that’s what we are he just needs to stay here. Unfortunately I can see him at one of the 3 big London clubs and that would be a step up (it would make me SICK if it was Chelsea mind) not Leicester.

    Do you watch footy
Leicester only finished three draws (3 points) and one place above us, a newly promoted club with minimal investment compared to them. Explain that and then answer Geordie1974's question which has you running scared.

Leicester don't have a player called Verdy, are you mixing him up with Verdi the composer. Nor do they have a player called mquire.

If you want to discus football on here at least have the respect to spell the player's names correctly.

Apparently the McGuire deal to Man U hinges on Leicester getting Lacelles.

£35 million isn't enough esp if NUFC know Man U are gonna pay £50 for McGuire. They will say £45 million. For that money he will go, unless the player himself, Lacelles prices himself out of a move with insane wage & bonus requests.

A player asking for £200,000 a week would surely kill any deal, regardless of whether the clubs agree a fee or not.

If Rafa & Jamal agree to stay together at NUFC then doesn't matter what the clubs want to do.

All the noises from Lacelles is that he has no interest in leaving NUFC. Why would anyone want to go from being Captain, adored by fans to just being part of another mid table team?

Leicester are a nothing team, they fluked the league during a very weak showing from the top 6. Fair play to them, Ranieri was treated so badly the following season. It's a disgrace!

They are now on the decline from that unexpected high! Varde has been great but his legs will go sooner or later. If a top side need a GK then Schmeichel will be off in a shot.

So really what have they got left to offer? Esp if McGuire off to Man U?

    ?
Think that is a tad unfair, they won the league whether by fluke or not, they won - definitely not a nothing team in my book.

I did say 'fair play to them'. But still never won anything in my life before and won't won anything any for another 38 yrs +.

**** ground, wan☆y arrogant, deluded fans.

The stars aligned for them that year, same as our 5th place, no one knew Cabaye, Ba was brilliant & evwrything Cisse struck went in. That was a flukey season for us. Don't think anyone of us can say we weren't lucky as F that season.

Leicester's season was much the same Vardy couldn't miss, no one knew Kante & Schmeichel came of age. Ranieri played a blinder but they lived a charmed life through out the season.

Except he's not said that, he's not indicated in anyway but i'm sure you'll claim to know somebody that Lascelles spills all his secrets to.
