Question - if you can’t take one part of the ground in isolation why is it the Derry always targeted in these safety discussions?

The Shankly on Celtic Boxing Day, stewards and police withdrawn. **** themselves, no closure threat
No reason to disbelieve you, just haven't heard it said myself.

The Derry is the least safe part of the ground and the only part over which there are serious concerns except when the twin cheeks visit at which point the police **** themselves, withdraw and leave them to it.

Been proved. Don't sit there myself but it's usually empty by the time I get from my seat at the back of The Coxy to the exit - never was before the changes.

We live in a H&S age that encourages people to sue over the slightest breach. Club needs to assess the risk and reduce it to ALARP. I sat in The Coxy on the night of the DAB game where the crowd surged toward the DAB fans when we scored, looked awesome but found out people were injured / trampled during the surges so there has been incidents in The Derry.

They didn't 'please' the police and council they addressed legitimate police safety concerns that the council were asked to look at.

They let the fans down by doing what they needed to do in order to keep The Derry open and make sure the fans had their favourite place to sit? Pair o' *******s eh?

To be fair the areas that some clubs have specifically set aside for younger, noisier fans tend to be minters, look at the fermers and Motherwell areas; DABs tried it too, realised it was a minter and pulled the plug.

Parts of Dens are a tip no denying that, unfortunately the place just is not up to the H&S requirements of a modern football stadium.
    One ****ebag.

They kept it on life support be as well dead which what one of them wanted.

So how many were hospitalised, stitches, sprains, broken bones or deaths the night of the dab game.

    Zero.

Although there was reports of a smashed phone screen, a trampled handbag and some smudged make up I believe.

I've had scarier nights watching the x files.

It's not as much of a minter than our ground or complete silence at games.

Ours wasn't even manufactured it was a natural thing that started 4 or 5 years ago but they couldn't wait to stamp it oot.

Don't have details but more than one person needed first aid treatment that night directly as a result of the surges.
