Virtually every post on this thread is about problems caused by religion and politics.

Just stop it - its outdated and has no bearing on where we need to go.

How many of you are truly religious. Why? To what lengths will you take your beliefs and try to thrust them down others throats

Likewise how many of you believe that your politics are going to make a difference - really? Do they not just cause wider and wider gulfs. The extremists on all sides tend to be either people who haven't got the capacity to be rational either because of lack of intelligence or because of emotional, physical or mental harm. We know this but continue to argue against their irrationality.

Religion is by and large defunct. Politics is heading the same way. Don't be a red or a blue sheep and base your life on what the blue or the red militia want you to do - **** em - think your own free thoughts!

I have my own thoughts Casper, it's just that they align almost perfectly with Jeremy Corbyn's and not at all with Theresa May's!

"God is love" (John 1. 4-8) can't be that hard to understand, can it Casper?

The Church of England is virtually defunct, the power and influence of the Roman Catholic church is on the wane, Islam is most certainly not defunct, nor is it's power and influence waning, quite the opposite imo.

Agreed sinkov, 2 billion adherents to a medieval faith who all hit the mats and face Mecca at 12 o'clock are not to be trifled with!
