Some people are only human after all. Being let down so often would get any crowd onto the player's backs but the Notts herd vocally have given their all despite being fed such tripe as we've seen this season.

    I can't imagine the players follow Notts Mad and become so depressed that they get even worse but if they are that emotionally vulnerable then what they hear during a game should, in effect, wind them back up to play their hearts out - but they don't.
    True. Asking the fans to get behind the team when we've been doing that all season seems strange. We've got the second highest average attendance despite being bottom for most of the season. The fans could do no more than they have. It's time for the players to step up.

    A takeover going through in the next few months is more important than which division we are in next season. Staying up and then going into admin would almost certainly be worse than going down and getting the business side sorted.
    Obviously going down and then going into admin would be the worst case scenario. Do we know for sure that these people won't walk away if the club does go down?

    If they are committed no matter what, then that would very much soften the blow of relegation. Presumably most of the clubs that have struggled to adapt to life in the 5th tier have done so because of continuing problems behind the scenes.

    some of that is true, UTM, but it is a VERY hard league to get out of, with every tinpot club raising their game when a "big" club comes to town.
    it took the biggest club in the universe 5 years to get out, so if luuuuon cant do it straight away, what chance do most normal clubs have?
    it is not an enjoyable time, losing to The Queens Head Rangers, and going to some godforsaken, out of town, 300 seat stadium in the pouring rain, in november, only to be told that there is no parking for 5 miles around, and that public transport to the area stops 30 minuted before the match ends.
    also, you will have to go to the proact, i wouldnt wish that on anyone!

    That is my fear, I can see relegation and Hardy taking us into administration!! Todays performace almost makes it clear that we haven't got what it takes to stay up. However who will the manager be next season in the conference?? Ardley surely has to go as he's completely clueless!

    Conference average crowds under 2,000! Empty stands, empty promises, oh I'm so looking forwards to it.

    Morrisons on a Saturday afternoon seems more than likely.

    heres a song you might get used to singing to the away supporters, as their numbers are announced;

    "come on a skateboard,
    you must have come on a skateboard!
    come on a skateboard, you must come on a ska-ateboard!"
