I'd tend to agree with you GF but RUFC must have known he was injured so maybe they are giving him a chance to prove he could recover.

On the other hand this rumour might be just that and wishful thinking by some fans.

Tend to agree FB, I think some fans are just assuming he has failed the medical because of his circumstances. He probably aint even had one yet! In saying that there is a good chance he would fail it because of his recent serious injury. IF we can get him fit tho he would be a good player at this level but that could be a big IF.

Some fans on here assume Procs will be firing on all cylinders next season but we can't tell that for sure. Some players are never the same after serious injuries look what happened to Brogan at MK Dons. A very promising player but never recovered properly. Richard Finney packed in early because of a serious injury as well.

I think Ward would be worth taking a chance on because he is still young but we can't keep signing players just hoping they will get fit.

He has had a medical which revealed he probably wouldn't be ready to play until xmas time. It's a difficult one from there as whatever we do could very easily backfire on us. Bin the deal off and he could come back as good as ever which will haunt us, take a chance and it could be 250k in wages down the swanny.

We cannot afford to carry passengers .Proctor isn't 100% so that one waste of cash .If he cannot play then he won come back to haunt us will he! Leave him where he is .

The other side of that is that if he comes back and shows the form he showed with us and Ipswich first season, we have a great player on our hands with a very large resale value.
