I agree, Rother Valley, Ulley and Manvers are nicer than Thrybergh.

Apparently there are two men from Rotherham in the GB Ice Hockey team, Liam Kirk and Ben Bowns.

Some great suggestions, but other than the choice of NYS, the rest are things built by past generations.

    Anything new we’re proud of?

Or has Rotherham “seen it’s day” ?

    New York Stadium?
Riverside House, despite being home to our oh so wonderful council, is actually a striking building from the outside at least.
The Imperial Buildings - when having a coffee outside Fitzwilliam and Hughes, looking across at the church yard and the old buildings around the top of High Street, you could be in York or Chester such is the beauty of this particular area. The Imperial Building itself is a nice one both inside and outside.
High Street - ignoring the boarded up Matalan, this street is home to some historic buildings including the 550 year old Three Cranes building which has been fully restored, and lovely independent shops and businesses. It is also a gateway to the classy George Wright boutique hotel.
The Minster is as stunning a building as you'll find anywhere in the country, and the Chapel on the bridge is a rare diamond.
Clifton Park is good for a walk round and is better facilitated than ever, although some of the newer features are starting to look a bit shabby, the rockery in particular, which sadly looks like it has become a hub for tramps and druggies.
