I wonder what the Do & Da Ball and Charltons (Purrington) new full back say about PW's management skills.

I would say that they are delighted at his mana management. Not because they didn't get selected by him but because he was good enough to let all of them go out on loan and prove themselves.

By doing this he has allowed them to better or extend their careers.

But being selfish....Rotherham United comes first. And we were (at that time) are "building for the future". These things happened a season ago - so players - considered by others - as worthy - and worthy at championship level were the perfect players to develop and solve our defencive woes. But not fancied by management. I still think it was a respect thing - especially Do Ball..but hey ho

You just can't see the argument of others being valid can you? Seriously banging on about the same thing time after time grinds folk down. I am getting private messges telling me how unenjoyable reading your posts on MillersMad is.

You say how wrong Warne was about not giving these players a chance and now they're playing int Championship. They are not yet playing in it! They may not play in it! They have signed for a team that have been promoted into it but that doesn't mean that they will get a start or even on the bench.

Then again if they do get in their respective teams and do well why does that mean that they would have done well with us?

It's another thread that has gone completey off topic and has gone back to your favourite subject.

You're a fool man and you don't get it! You don't yet understand the dislike folk have for you. Easy&Early? On this showing I'd go as far as saying Simple&Late!

I gave PW the benefit of the doubt about his man-management / football management skills / tactical skills / player assessment skills untill :

1...He put Yates on v Leeds who looked like a scared rabbit and frose. Lost us the game.

2...He played Wood - in the must win Birmingham game - then hooked him off after Wood was humiliated for pace and decision making - individually cost goals and therefor the 3 points.

I really then started to question....

1..What the hell was he thinking about !

2..Does he actually believe Yates was up for the job - a definate NO for me.

3..Does he actually believe Wood was still up for the job (championship) - a definate NO for me. And v Birmingham he proved it!

That put PW's credentials up for debate.

Again - only my opinion and I am not stopping others having their opinions - and great to read the thoughts of others but I still have mine. I'm not offering my opinion as an expert either but only on par with the other opinions registered within MM and the wider footballing world.

Sending Yates out has distanced himself from his obvious support for Yates (even at league one level) but not totally......

...and I'm pretty sure Wood will be club captain again this year. Wood this year may be ok but my doubts were at championship level.

Again - just my opinion like yours CAM and I have never disparaged or in any way tried to undermine your credibility to offer your opinions. Neither have I insulted anyone on MM - because two wrongs never made a right.

I'm surprised it took this long for Yates vs Leeds to get mentioned...
