Blimey, the SPL is even worse than I thought. Why do we always pay for contracted players but then nearly always have to give them away?

Agreed. How many times have we made a 'marquee' signing where we pay an actual fee, only for that player to leave a year or two later for nothing.

We can now add Hemmings to the list that includes Danny Haynes and Izale McLeod, and will eventually include Dennis and Enzio.

I agree, his body language in that interview made it very clear to me that he wasn’t up for it. I think Hardy wanted him signed up to p**s off Mansfield but in the end they got the last laugh. I think his signing fee and wages could have been much better spent but AH just wanted to get one over The Stags.

I think the owners mentioned in their first press conference that the plan is to continue with the existing budget.

They said it was quite high and should be a competitive budget for this division.

I quite liked him, but his wage's would of been to high for the non league. Think he'll do well back north of the border.
