Why was it a disaster?

Well it looked confusing even on highlights. In real time it was probably like the delay you get when a player is stretchered off. Like throwing a bucket of water tobfampen down the exci6and flow if the match.

That disallowed goal for offside was just ridiculous, a bit of arm in front of the defender. Feet level so to me that's level.

Nit picking VAR

One of the other games couldnt start because the voice link from the linesman to VAR was broken and the ref couldnt start the second half.

The City handball DID change the direction of the ball and the Wolves & Leeds handball's last season have been cited as reasons to state ANY HANDBALL is HANDBALL.

Half the problem is the ref does not use his linesman .Howard Webb once commented some referees ask the linesman not to flag for fouls only throw ins or corners . For those who went to Burton today 2 foul throws by Burton and both times the ref gave them not the linesman who was stood next to the player both times. If the linesman actually flagged for fouls Smith would get 10 free kicks a game .Maybe its a ego thing with some refs , I am in charge kinda thing.
