Sounded like one of those games, if we'd have score nine, they'd have got ten.

We had a right good go last night and with bit more luck against a team slightly less competent than Portsmouth we would have won easily.
It didn't,t work out but PW picked a starting XI to win it and he clearly told them to go and win it.

when we won possession of the ball it was recycled quickly and we were launching wave after wave of attacks. No respite, no let ups. Big vote of confidence in his players to do that considering the opposition

Looking good for the rest of the season

Well it’s because they were all terrific well executed moves that no defence would stop or maybe it’s.....

I only watched the second half and enjoyed it. When we went down to 10 men the game was up but didn't they struggle to take advantage?
Some decisions by the officials take some understanding. The booking for oggy the foul given against Wiles and icky plus the hand ball by Morris when he was fouled yet rolled over with the ball in his hand and won a corner.
We're clearly down to the bare bones at the back. It's clearly not mind games by Warne but how well are we playing in midfield? The energy in there is a joy to watch.

I'm pretty sure we didn't just 'let 3 in', this professional football not a bunch of 10 year olds.

Defence a slight concern....but this^^^...plus Freddy finding his feet at last = top 2 by Christmas

Panglossian as always...but check out all L1 fixtures in Decemeber. I'd say it's on

Think we were poor at the back in the air last neet but I wonder if that was down to defenders not being fit.particularly Robinson. It aint like us to be so poor like that, even their titchy forwards were beating us in the air. We do need extra cover in defence in Jan that is for sure. We will get better as the season progresses I am sure. Make sure we are in the top 6 on Jan 1st and bob could be our uncle...
