    One of my abiding memories from Gayfield was a cup game where the wind particularly in the 2nd half got so bad that Craig Brewster had a shot at goal, and he can hit them, and it went up in the air and blew the other way.

    Didn't he shoot from outside the box then end up having to challenge in the air for the ball as it came back down? ��

    Happened a few times on Saturday from goal kicks.

    He also scored an absolute belter of a goal that day. From about 30 yards wind assisted.

    I had been there once before. 1987 I think and we won 7-0. I was pretty young but i remember the ball going in the sea at some point.

    anyone know why our subbies were warming up at the home end and the team warmups were at the opposite ends from their fans?
