So bad decisions by those in charge and injuries to key players (Deeney among others) explain why they were bottom of the league, imo.

That said, I think they perform as you’d expect them to now.
Well, not a win in 3 now, including defeats vs the Vile and Tranmere (!).

At home they were 3-0 up vs Tranmere I think, finished 3-3.

You are being a bit selective in your quest to discredit the Pearson/Shakespeare combination SB, the hard facts and results are clear to see.
Pearson joined Watford on the 6th December 2019, at which time they were I believe rock bottom of the Premiership, that is relegation time whichever way you look at it.

On the 7th Dec. they drew 0-0 at home to Palace.
Lost 2-0 away to Liverpool (no shame there).
Won 2-0 at home to Man Utd.
Drew 1-1 with Sheffield Utd. away from home.
Beat the Villa 3-0 at home.
Beat Wolves 2-1, that was with 10 men after a dodgy VAR decision.
Trashed Bournemouth 3-0 away from home.
Drew with Spurs 0-0 at home, that was a special one...see what I did there?
Lost to Villa away 2-1, making a two goal, goal difference which is precious in a relegation battle.

12 out 21 points is hardly a failure.

Next up is Everton who knocked Watford out of the EFL Cup, but that was in October, before Pearson arrived at Watford, interesting to see if he can reverse the scoreline.

It would make more sense to disregard the FA Cup result versus Tranmere as Watford made 11 yes, eleven changes in the second
game, don't know about the first match.

    Boing boing.

Not trying to discredit them at all, just giving a more ”neutral” description, and even more so in my first post where I gave my view on ”the Watford situation”.

Hopefully we will be swapping place's with them next season. Don Howe, Brian Talbot, Bryan Robson, Darren Moore.. how long before the penny drops?
