I find myself this afternoon being dismayed at the selection and team formation by Johnson. It is HARD ENOUGH for us to garner enough points to keep us safe for another season without shooting ourselves in the feet. Unless there was a reason we dont know about, then Semple should have played to give better balance to the starting 11 and bolster the midfield. As it is , we have lost another home game we shouldn't have and have harder games ahead. Partick Thistle's investment will ensure they do put a run together at some point and Arbroath/ Alloa are proving anything but a soft touch. We are getting badly squeezed towards the bottom now but I urge you all to rally around our team yet again.

Just exactly what point is he trying to make though? If by resisting making substitutions, he is trying to tell the BOD he has no-one to bring on, - he's kind of missed the boat, - because the window has slammed shut.

If he is resisting the temptation to bring on subs to make a point, - then I'm afraid he's certainly proved his point with the Queens fans and his stubbornness will become his downfall.

Football is like a game of chess with 22 living pieces, and if you fail to make the right moves at the right time you lose your Queen and ultimately the match.

At 4.27 pm last night I said to my father, - this is an intriguing game which could go either way, - but the manager must make a move now, - or he'll end up with the same result as last week.

Not only is Johnson losing his Queens,(as per at chess) - he is going to lose Queens their Championship status if he doesn't start utilising all his options.
Surely it's time for the board to Question Johnston & Clark before it's to late am sure even Billy, Mark & Craig football fans must have been thinking the same as the rest of the crowd yesterday regarding Semple' s exclusion, & lack of subs used. The manager used his last loan on a Central Midfielder in Ian Wilson then plays him out of position despite having an experienced CB on the bench! Despite 6 possible starters missing yesterday Johnston could have put out a far better starting 11 by playing available players in there proper positions.

I agree with most others we picked the wrong team.Magic seemed to pick who he thinks his best 11 players were rather than the best team.Semple should have played if he is uninjured.I thought Devine and Wilson actually done a lot of decent things in the game but both are lacking the physical attributes that was shown particularly at the winner. The second goal was brutal play from the moment Hamilton heads it out for a throw from practically on the touchline.Holty can see it all and should tell Hamilton to leave it.Holt then tells Pybus to come out and mark.Pybus marks nobody the Pars work an easy 3 on 2,whip in a cross that Lyon heads out for a needless corner. We then drop the runner and we are behind in the last play of the half.
For the second week a team has to do nothing fancy to score 3 goals and leave with 3 points. It is worrying that the Pars score the winner in 82 minutes and half the home crowd jack it and there is not much from the team to claw it back.
Magic has had his hands tied by budget and the loss of McCrorie and El Bak but he must try and get a settled team and defence from now on in.I would ditch the front 3 to get an extra man to help an overrun midfield. The whole team needs to be further up the park to enable Dobbie and others to hurt the opposition.
Positives were a vast improvement in Devine in just 7 days and Wilson takes a lot of responsibility and is at least willing to try something different.
Us punters must stick with the team and give more backing on match days.We are certainly in a dogfight as the league is so tight but we can turn it around.
    Come on Queens.
