As for the forum, we talked about this the other day. I agree with Kev-internet forums aren't the thriving places they once were but, like it or not, there are some posters who stay away because of the constant bickering where the common denominator is yourself (and note-I'm not getting into a blame-game, I'm just stating a fact). As for wanting 'positive' posters, we don't look for a 'type'. All we want are Newcastle fans who want to talk about their club and if they hold their views genuinely and aren't saying things just to wind up posters who hold the opposite (or a differing) view then they're more than welcome.

There aren't many fans who feel positive about our club at the moment and that's reflected in the type of posts people put up-folk come on here to blow off a bit of steam about something close to their hearts-which is why things can blow up when posters feel that you're deliberately stating the opposite to get their backs up. Being absolutely honest here-and I always try to be-I do appreciate the positivity in your posts. I used to be a lot more positive on here but that was because there were things to be positive about-and I think most of us are the same-but as a forum we need a counter-balance to the negativity because it's easy to lose sight of any positives when there are so many negatives (as most of us see them)

Having said that (and I'm sure you'll disagree) you may not like to admit it but we're not stupid-we know there are times when you do say things to stoke the fire. You've contradicted yourself on so many occasions when you're trying to have a go at a poster or their comments that I've lost count. You've put people's backs up to the extent that any genuine positivity about the team and the club is either tainted or totally obscured by people's suspicions about why you're saying it. If you put up your positive posts without also having a go at folk who hold the opposite view then you'd find they were received a lot better than they are. Nobody wants to be negative about our club but that's the way the majority of us feel -certainly, on here, the vast majority. Feel free to find a forum where everyone is as positive as you...but I think you'll struggle.

There you go. Just my observations.
Great post ✔ Wasting your time but great post non the less.

The negativity is mainly a consequence of how the fat kernt owns and runs "our" club .
He is an odious tw@t with no idea of what the team means ( except as a cash cow) and the history and memories behind it .
The constant underfunding , falling out with the media and fans , appointing complete garbage managers ,belittles the fans .. The whole thing is a shambles.
This is then reflected on places like this , the club is in stagnation , we don't even try to compete with Wolves ffs.
It's a sickness brought on by Ashley's and his ar$e licking cohorts . Newcastle Utd is a born and bred , in your blood , almost religion and it's being devalued and bled dry by a cockney barrow boy .
I can't understand anybody giving a penny to this person ,who has caused so much anger , frustration and division among the genuine fan base .
This is reflected on here , people except differing views .. But bear baiting wind ups are unacceptable and people need to knock it on the head .

Not a fair weather fan but a blind optimist as the idiots who followed Adolph were.

I miss the old Toptoon. The one who was optimistic, got excited at the start of transfer windows and in the build up to matches, who would defend his club in any argument and had hope at the start of every season that this would be the year we won something.

Don't we all know that feeling and it's years and years ago since at least the majority of us looked forwards the start of a new season thinking "what if"
