Great to start speaking about the team again!

Other than the keepers, i dont think we have much of a team left to rely on. Butcher, Appere and Shankland are the only outfield players i have full confidence in, and i hope Clark can find way to that level as well.

After that, Harkes, Robson, Smith and Connolly need to prove me wrong in that i dont think they are good enough to establish themselves in a premiership team. Then there is Cammy Smith and a number of youngsters, who need to keep showing the potential i believe they have.

Still 2 feckin months to go! Is the window open yet?

I agree the 4 that are our best players.

Have to remember this not a championship winning team yet.

Are these players that are being castigated by some worse than the St Johnstone starting 11 who ended up finishing 6th in the SPL last season.

Also young lads like Robson and Smith need to gain experience and you only really get that from playing games and learning.

Pretty confident our team is good enough to compete. Need a few more for top 6

Going forward I think we will have enough in the locker, especially if we can add a creative player. It is central defence that absolutely frightens me and is the top priority for recruitment.

St Johnstone would put 6 past that defence. I don't know what you were watching last season but there is no way that team are staying up without a massive overhaul.

Personally I regret letting Watson go but don’t think he alone would have been answer.

We do need a top quality signing in central defence.

That is not to say that the 4 lads there at the moment are not decent. We are not going to be old firm standard overnight, players we have can compete and be close to top 6, especially if we keep Shanks

We are not a Championship winning team but the Fermers finished 6th?

Callum Booth plays for St Johnstone. The boy McCart that we put 7 past in 2 ICT games has been playing well for them. Chris Erskine finished in the top 6. The Premiership (outside the top 4 at the moment) is not blessed with top quality footballers. Without any recruitment, we'd survive. With decent recruitment, 7th-9th, with good recruitment, top 6.

People keep saying 'the current squad will go down' which I disagree with. but multiple other clubs in the league have just released 10-15 players. So what about their current squads? So many people panicking for no reason. Robbie said on Arabzone he has a few different budgets to work with. He wants defenders, wingers and another striker. If we recruit well, as I said above, we'll do just fine.

Meant to quote the 'st johnstone would put 6 past us' comment. Not TTTs

Hence my point of an overhaul...
