Am norra better man either. Does 10 to 1 mean tha saying thuzza 10% chance ovvuz stopping up ? If so al say in my opinion tha not far art wi that.
Remember thuz three go darn so we ev to do better Luton and Charlton fo starters and then catch up 7 points on at least one of those clubs presently just above the bottom three befooar we even think abart ovvatekkin 'em.
All in the space of 9 games.

It's a good job we ed that freak win at Fulham followed by catching Hull and Boro in poor form. Wiv lost aar last two--Reading A and Cardiff H. This time next week we'll know the QPR scooar.

Duz anyone know the players travel arrangements ? The carnt stop anyweear ovvannet so are they travelling darn on morning of game and then straight back ? Knowing Dog's generous nature I bet he puts on a flight from Donny to Heathrow.

That is how it looks , every transfer window fills you with dread , especially the January one .

Look at the sale of Brad Potts , George Moncur to our nearest promotion chasing rival for instance .

Further back Hourihane , Bree and Winnall when we were 7th in the Championship under Hecky .

We come back up under Stendel with wind in our sails and he has the spine of his team removed .

On every occasion other than January 2019 we lose impetus at this level , one step forward followed by two steps back .

The new guys come in and its a struggle at championship level because we stick rigidly to the policy , no loans , no experience , not even one or two just to appease the HC and at least look like they want to be competitive in this league .

I wouldn't mind so much but last summer the recruitment within the policy was a complete bag of shyte , they've actually had their pants pulled down on a number of players and they'll be lucky to even get a quarter back on what they paid for em ...... the very thing this policy is supposed to avoid .
I’m not totally agreeing with their business plan and I agree with a lot of your points it’s just that I don’t know barely any owners who just give football clubs their money. It’s always loans that they usually eventually want back so if we want to move away from the current plan it’s going to mean debt to the club

The plan works totally fine in league one , trouble is we go and feck it up by getting promoted .

Perhaps we should stop doing it .

Do you mean debt to the club or debt to the owners?
Either way I don't think there are many who give a damn anymore

It's surprising but not unexpected Exile , i agree that football has become secondary to many now , I'm sure all this silly amounts of money that's been thrown about willy nilly over the years will have had a major part to play in all this , i don't blame any fan of whatever club they support , if they suddenly withdraw from this greedy horrible game now , It's not for the likes of many of us now , gone are them day's when your support was appreciated , like many have said on numerous occasions , It's all about money and nothing else , The PL and EFL should be ashamed , they are no better in my view than the Corrupt duo of Blatta and Platini , a big change is needed , current wages aren't sustainable, and never should have been allowed , i hope it all comes back to many what amounts they earn , and the Huge gap in difference money wise that Fans earn ,

Well whatever you think of MacAnthony at Peterbrough he puts our owners to shame:

    Quote:

"The finances will be stable based on myself and my partners putting money into the club. We're talking millions, and if it's without fans then it's that bit more"

"But we're owners of a football club, its our responsibility. As much as we'd love a bailout like everyone else, maybe we're going to have to work on pay deals with some players for a year until we all get over coronavirus.

Yes. That’s exactly the response that gets people behind you. Not the way ours have behaved.

Wouldn't it be great if our owners came out with a statement along the lines of--

"Football progress is our main aim here at our club. We will help Gerhard in any way we can over the next month to retain the Championship status we gained in fantastic style and passion under Daniel. We accept that recruitment errors were made last summer which made it very difficult for our Head Coaches to succeed in a very competitive league.
It's a big ask for Gerhard to keep us up but, should we go down, we can tell fans now that the sale of players will not be used to finance our budget in League One. Our policy will be to pull out all the stops to retain our top performing players and fund the budget through a loan to the club from ourselves in a determined bid to bounce straight back with a strong squad,
We will not be relying solely on fans to show their love for the club by committing financially, we intend to share that burden."
