How about David Joseph and Pegguy Arphexad? (The latter being another fine Scrabble play!)
ETA: Someone briefly mentioned Julien Baudet. Who else remembers his 'Balls of Steel' penalty? Great moment that.

Filip Valencic deserves a mention. I remember watching his YouTube video when he signed, and thought we’d made a really good signing. Not so, unfortunately - just 9 appearances and 1 goal before he disappeared from view.
However, I’ve just googled him and he’s been doing quite well. He’s the leading scorer in the top flight of Finnish football and expected to play in the Europa League any time soon (though I have to admit, I don’t know what standard Finnish football is).
4, but yes, Pompey fans on twitter were raving about him like he was the second coming of... I can't think of a Pompey legend but they liked him, there's over a hundred comments on his post about not getting a new contract
Born in France and played for Algeria U20's so absolutely.
Honourable mention for Tcham N'Toya, who i once asked what he thought about Steve Thompson and he replied "he knows **** all about football"
Me too! Always got really excited when he made a rare appearance.
Anyone remember David Joseph? Another Frenchman, possibly signed by Allardyce or maybe even Jocky Scott. Really lightweight forward. Decent on the ball but hardly ever scored.
Edit: whoops, I should have read the whole thread before posting.
You never change do you? I said they were raving like he was the second coming of a legend, it was tongue in cheek because they were all very positive about him, I'm not saying he was a legend, just that he was very well liked, no matter how short his time on the pitch for them was, clearly they appreciated his talents as a footballer as his ability was fairly obvious to most people that watched him. As I said previously it took a Liverpool fan I know about half an hour watching Notts for him to laugh and ask "who that guy bossing the midfield was" when he watched us on Sky, it's shame he wasted most of his career with behind the scenes stuff and it's a shame Trew sacked Moniz as quickly as he did because that team was the best Notts team to watch in the last 20 years after the 09/10 season (though there isn't much competition).
