Aston Villa reportedly trying to sign him.
I am sure that he would pick us if we decided to bid.Should we push the boat out if Athletico want to offload him?
Personally I would but I am biased,I love the guy.

At his age he would be good in the short term but expensive in the long term.
A four year deal with a 12 month extension would cost us £4 million per year fee wise, and then heavy wages.
A bit like me really, I want a new Porsche but in reality the Child Bride says I can't afford one. Exactly the same scenario with BFC and Trippier I'm sorry to say, but I would dearly love him to come home.
I know but he could be the player that keeps us in this money making League.
Id have him back in a flash.
I bet Wood would love him to sign for us , pin point crosses right to his head.
Me and my youngest lad watched every Championship game when Ingsy and Vokes helped to win us the Championship and because the lad is a true "Claret Anorak" he told me the percentage of goals the two strikers had scored in which Trippier had an assist. I can't remember now the exact figure, but if I remember correctly I think it was around 70%!
I know Garlick will not spring the Wonga required to bring Trippier home but what an asset he would be! I'll agree with you on this one army88, Wood would love him to sign for us, pin point crosses right on his napper.![]()
I'm still not sure what went wrong at Spurs for Tripps, he'd replaced Walker at right-back for England, he was outstanding every time I saw him for Spurs, then suddenly it was all over, it seemed Poch didn't rate him any more and he was gone. Even more baffling to me is that Aurier, who replaced him at Spurs is a donkey, his ability to cross a ball is non-existent, he's not fit to lace Tripps boots.
I think you are right Sinkov. I believe Trippier knew Atletico were interested and wanted to know if he was he was still part of Poch’s plans. For some reason Poch didn’t get in touch. I doubt if we can afford Trippier now but we do need a new right back. I thought we might make an offer for Max Aarons.
This situation sums up Burnley Football Club in a nutshell. Dyche loves Trippier, Trippier Loves Dyche, virtually all of us love Trips, but tight arse won't spring open the Dry Powder Room door.
We could sell Lowton to help finance the deal, accept whatever for Gibson and bring Trippier home. Simples!
