Think you're being a bit hard on Blackman and Jones. I think B'man is growing into the role; compare what he did today against Wycombe. Can't say definitively whether their pen was merited or not. Jones had just played 90 mins of a mentally challenging match, so his decision making may not have been as sharp as it might have been earlier in the game. Maybe the ref (who I thought had a good game) got it wrong on this occasion. Reffing these days is more difficult - some players fall over if someone farts within 5 yards of them.

Naive by Jones but the ref couldn't wait to give it. In saying that we could have lost it in the end. We desperately need to work at defending leads. We dont score enough goals to chuck any lead we have away within mins of scoring. Warney needs to learn the art of doing this fast or it will be deja chuffin vu..

I'm in the camp that Blackman will be a decent keeper. Jones was playing Vs brums best player. Very tricky and used both feet. Had a decent game though mistake for the pen..
Hurst got little change from the two CB. Worked hard with very little support from crooks (playing number 10 role)

Sadly I think warne is slowly slipping back to 451 or 4411 as topsy likes to call it. I can see plenty of draws n loosing by 1 goal games with the odd win thrown in..
To finish on a positive. There's more fight in this team than last time in the champ. Still happy with my lower mid table finish prediction

A pleasing point, despite the last minute slip up. Looks as though we will have to be the best team, just to get a draw.
We must be doing ok if a point at Brum is a disappointment for many folks.

I think we should consider moving on from Dan the man.
No one knows if he is any good in the cship and might not make the grade so it's a risk.
Shaun MacDonald had previously played in the cship and is doing us proud.
If it ain't happened by midweek I'd be going for plan B and a midfielder with experience at the level we need
