One of them won’t say when he last tested negative for COVID, is planning on staging a rally tomorrow anyway and won’t even promise a peaceful transition of power if he loses. Biden may not be the most inspiring of politicians, but at least he’s sane.

Yeah I actually agree with that. One of them is a machine politician who occasionally goes into Grandpa Simpson mode and forgets what he's saying or goes off on tangents. For me he hasn't distanced himself enough from the extreme left but it's still better than being an outright conman who says something stupid almost every time he opens his mouth and who is openly courting extremists.

My worry is what happens if/when he hopefully loses. He's busy revving up the far right and I fear they will feel emboldened to take some sort of direct action. Look at what they were planning to do to Gretchen Whitmer. That wasn't some lone ****age boy plotting a fantasy attack in his bedroom. And even after that, all Trump's campaign manager can do is verbally attack her.

It's a complete sh*t show. Not only have they got a leader who almost certainly has a serious personality disorder, he's now on dexamethasone too. Never mind god bless America, god help America.

Yes and unfortunately I don't think he's hit peak craziness yet either, not by a long way. Telling people to go to polling stations to check up on them is very worrying too. If it's Joe Bloggs hanging around at the polling station I suppose it's ok (although I've no idea what Joe Bloggs would do there exactly), but if you've got armed militias hanging round intimidating people that's insane banana republic stuff.

Can't disagree. Just to highlight how dysfunctional his presidency is, I read an article recently saying that Fred Perry have banned the sale of their black polo tops with yellow trim to America. They were concerned that the proud boys were wearing them as a uniform. This was before the presidential debate.

Trump's response when asked about them at the debate a few days later? “Proud Boys – stand back and stand by. But I’ll tell you what. I’ll tell you what. Somebody’s got to do something about antifa and the left because this is not a rightwing problem.”

It comes to something when a British clothing company takes more action against an American extremist right wing group than the American president.
