Didn't see the game so can't comment on our performance. "Watched" the last 10 minutes on BBC Final Score. Quite nice to be 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go but as the minutes ticked by it did get a bit nerve-wracking. Then when all the Championship games had finished except ours and Wednesday's I had this terrible foreboding. Sure enough, both teams conceded in the 96th minute. I don't care less about Wednesday but ours was like a kick in the stomach. Why wasn't the ball half-way down The Don, punctured by the force of the boot? Still, I have to say before the match I thought a draw was a likely result and it is another point. They all count at the end of the season. Best wishes to Ogbene.

Ogbene knee surgery Monday. Six to eight weeks. Hurt in training. #rufc.

Why do we always manage to knacker our better players in training , at least let the opposition do it on the pitch...

Deffo need a right winger now. At least one of the weeks will be an international break. Wiles did ok there but he aint no winger.
I'd be tempted to put Olasunde on the right next game.

I'm beginning to believe that myself. Next week when the clock hits 90 I'm going to go upstairs and make love to the Mrs but the problem is I'll still be back well in time to start my write up before the final whistle

We are performing far better than last time at this level, though we still have a lot to learn. Agree with the comments about sitting back. Angus MacDonald was outstanding for my money, M.O.M. and so unlucky with the o.g. Wiles for the most part playing out of position, did really well. The forwards are a concern, as it`s hard to see where the goals are going to come from.
Barlaser and Ogbene will obviously help with chance creation, and we have to hope young Hirst can find his form.

I hope Alexandra Burke doesn't banish him to the spare bedroom tonight.

Can't blame him really Alex, give the lad a break

Toffolo was outstanding in the second half.
Vas was a waste of time when he cane on.
Mattock and A McDonald’ were immense and Wiles faded.
I’m yet to be convinced by Sadlier.

I bet if you read the post-match thoughts on every message board the majority would reflect, like ours, the majority of supporters views that their tactics threw it away.
Udders Field deserved what they got today. Arguably they deserved more. They exploited their strengths really well and with a better finisher would have scored more.
I think our problem today was that the midfield didn't cohere as a unit. Wiles had quite a good, individualist, game. Crooks didn't; maybe he isn't up to speed yet, could be he hasn't got the bit of quality needed at this level.
If the middle doesn't gel as a unit your top two are starved of quality ball. If memory serves me, we had one shot on target by a forward and he created that opportunity himself.
I could go on, but can't be arsed. Just be realistic; this a step up in quality and you can't always dictate how the game pans out. Today was one of those days.

I think Sadlier was defensively good today ( compare to Taylor and Newell), but he didn't contribute much in the final third. But he wasn't the only one.

4 points lost in last 2 matches in the last 5 to 10 minutes, we need to knuckle down & hold on to points.
