Sluggish poor performance from Notts so far, best chance fell to woking just before half time.

Come on Notts step it up second half

I’d take a 1-0 win now at half time. Whilst no team really tested the respective keepers we had the best chances.

Woking are not one of these sides that will let us play and have the possession and that’s where we need to be quicker in the pass and be more threatening in the second half if we are to beat them.

We just have not got going really first half and it was one which a number of passes went astray and lack of sharpness in ball control at times.

The positives are that Walker looks skilful and dangerous and we’ve now gone over 2 1/2 games (237 minutes) without conceding a goal. The last one being conceded in the 78th min against Chesterfield.

That would be perfect really. To be able to grind that out when not playing well. Got to pick it up now

That’s the poorest first half from Notts all season, definitely at home. Really struggling to keep the ball and zip it around like we were doing against Wealdstone. This has got a scrappy 1-0 written all over it - question is to who.

Eli Sam has really struggled today, likewise Rodrigues - maybe it’s a game too far for them. Walker’s been the pick of an average bunch, followed by Brindley. Come on Notts, let’s step it up in the second half.

Let’s make this penalty pay. Makes up for the one we did not get on Wednesday.
