Tbh jocks..we'do accept losing no problem and we expected it, but what grates fans of all clubs not just ours is when their team look shocking, which we did I'm hearing..not just once but almost every week...giving 100% effort from 100% of the players that take the field is a given..it's the least we expect.
That's what hurts fans the most..not just the score

The budgets are incomparable but other teams all seem to have a result in them but we are floundering.
There is no way we were ever going to beat them, even with our best team out.

We have now lost more games than any other team in the league. We have a lot of injuries and seem to be beaten before we start due to our lack of belief. Player for player we are not as good as most teams at this level, so we have to play a high tempo in your faces kind of game, but three games a week together with our lengthening injury list is killing us at the moment. To keep that intensity up is impossible given the level of quality we are facing. We seem only able to perform 45 minutes per game, and we pay for it early and late in games too often. When we concede we seem to let another one in very quickly.

I have no answers but I think we should send the loan players back. Interestingly Hurst was unused tonight.
We need Miller on the wing and Ogbene (when fit) on the other wing.

It will get worse before it gets better unfortunately.

As for replacing the manager, be very careful what you wish for. The last mid season change was a disaster, Warnock being the one exception. We can still do it but need to start picking up points again quickly or we could be cut off in the bottom three because the likes of Forest & Derby aren’t going to stay down there as they have the resources to improve greatly on where they are currently.

    Our manager thought this:-

"In the second half we were excellent to the man but let's not kid ourselves where we are”

"I was really proud of the performance, there were some really good performances but I go away from this ground disappointed on the result but not on the performance“

    Hmmmmmmm.......

    Protecting his players Grist.
Suppose it's better than snagging them off publicly then they'd certainly not put the effort in for a manager that doesn't back them.

Well it worked for Evans and Warnock. If Warne gonna praise the players every time we lose then the players are gonna feel like it's acceptable to put in poor performances.

Coventry can play a bit of football
So can wycombe..so why cant we?
Our bullying tactics and long ball game is boring to watch and doesnt seem to work..once two goals go in at the other end its over..and i dont like watching paint dry..

Just seen his post match comments, some one go and have a serious talk with Warney.
Absolutely embarrassing comments from him that. He can’t seriously believe what he’s just said surely

I thought exactly the same. I was dumbfounded listening to his reaction. I think hes entered the denial stage. The erratic team selections, the baffling analysis afterwards. The praising of players who clearly have had a shocker.

I'm afraid (because I genuinely like him) it only ends one way. The only question is how much damage is done up to that point.
