It's not just the EFL. I paid $5.99 (about 4 quid) for a month long subscription to ESPN+ as we were on v Coventry and v Derby and having put up with that crap a fortnight ago I was anticipating something better on Saturday. I want my money back

I don’t think EFL would say anything other than clarify the timing, not the postponement itself. Conspiracy theories are ludicrous given the seriousness of the situation. There could be no basis for further action whether it be one positive result or ten. The basis is to protect lives. Provided protocols have been followed there isn’t a case to answer.

The question is “What if the game been played and Derby players/ staff had been infected?

A different question would had been asked then, eg Why did we play the game when someone was positive?

As I understand it the Derby officials didn’t enter the stadium. Ours were retested apparently.

I am surprised though that our next two games have not been called off as a precaution irrespective of further test results.
My only other criticism is that because communication has been quite poor, it gives rise to conspiracy theories. Given the instant reporting via Twitter etc, there is really no excuse for poor communication.

The sooner we announce our test results and have the Boro and Barnsley game cancelled the better or, the rumour mill will turn and it's going to look like we've made something up about the 'other' players showing symptoms.

I still think that our player that tested positive is one that doesn’t live in South Yorkshire

Will we ever know? Here in the US it's actually illegal for an employer to divulge any health information about their employees. With COVID though and working in an office environment it's often a bit of a giveaway when men in hazmat suits come by and blowtorch a cubicle

Pretty much the same here. At Mrs Grist’s school it’s the teacher that doesn’t turn up so that bubble bursts and the kids in that bubble stay at home. Not much head scratching and puzzling who it is.

We're starting to think we ought to be safe. Rooney has shored up the defence and we now have 4 clean sheets on the bounce. Major catalyst is the return from injury, after a year out, of Bielik who is absolutely bossing the midfield. Add to that, what was earlier this season a shot shy attack, we are shooting regularly and hitting the target. Our issue had been the way Cocu had us playing. Way too complicated and safety first which only served in offering the opposition chances which they gratefully accepted. Last season, despite only losing touch with the playoff places in the last 5 games, we failed to beat a top 6 side. This season we've already beaten Norwich and Swansea. This 6 game unbeaten run has shown a consistency that ought to see us comfortably in midtable come May...... if the season is played out, that is.

Be nice if they stopped it now . Yes Rooney sems to be waving a magic wand of sorts. Wonder what his Management skills are like behind closed doors?

Last Saturday television showed the Derby County club bus on the NYS car park, with Rooney & McClaren stood outside talking to someone, could have been fourth official or referee, so looked like the Derby County camp did not enter the stadium.
