I know people who have flaunted the rules and travelled over the border for a pint.
FFS every street has an off license if they are desperate, or they could do without it for a while like me.
I think a lockdown over Christmas and New Year was always on the cards whatever the Covid figures, because we all knew what would happen.

We had to take our dog to the vet's yesterday in Wolverhampton. We phone when we get there and the vet's come out to us.
We were surprised to see the Gym on Thompson Ave open and full of people. People need to exercise to keep healthy physically and mentally, but wouldn't they be better having outdoor runs and walks?
I believe the swimming bath's are open as well.
A few weeks ago just before Tier 3 i went to collect some flooring from a carpet fitters.
He told me that he had to close the shop the next day but people still come and collect orders and he could come to house's, measure up and fit a carpet.
But I haven't seen my mom since Marc.
None of these rules make any sense.
It's a wonder the kids haven't all been at school. Oh, hang on...
