O/T:- Reminder to all fellow members: NCM situation

I was very saddened, disappointed and concerned to read the thread posted by Swale our Moderator regarding some posts on this site.
For me living away from Nottingham, NCM provides me with more primary information regarding Notts than any other source and it is one I hope continues for many years to come. I visit the site to learn about events and gossip relating to Notts County, not to read the views (ad nauseam) of a vociferous few which become totally unrelated to the aims of this site. Indeed there are two posters who have provided 12 posts on this topic already!
Please can we get back to the fundamentals of what this board was and is designed for.

Joking apart, the banter between Elite and Laddo, although maybe brain-numbingly tedious, doesn't go anywhere near getting the board into trouble.

We all know the occasions when posters have been OTT. Swale deals with these the best way he can, but repeat offenders can only be silenced by bans, or maybe professional help.

Perhaps one good thing to do is to boot the reincarnation of Navy Pie off the board as there is one poster who will most certainly attract attention for the wrong reasons. And then block the IP address so he cant rejoin! If there was an award for boring tedium Laddo would certainly win, eLites posts are sometimes quite interesting ( but only sometimes) although when it comes to original content I don't think either will be getting a job at Netflix anytime soon.

Absolutely young sir. I am up and about and off to walk the dog anyway. Pray for me that I don't get mowed down by a Kangaroo etc etc. 2 Episodes to go on the Queens Gambit I am saving them up. I made the mistake of watching"The Worlds Toughest Prisons" last night what an hour that was wasted. I should also add that I think I am the only remaining poster on the board that Ray Trew threatened legal action to on here talking of monitoring bad behaviour. I think I called him a fraud from memory and he didn't take too kindly to it. I will let with hindsight the fan base decide if I was correct!

Thank you for your (almost) gushing praise QP, it brought a tear to my eye. At least I can claim to annoy on a variety of subjects rather than be a single issue poster.

Netflix is definitely his domain, 24 minutes of Coronation Street on demand is the limit of my attention span.

Have you ever visited Pride of Nottingham Cheltenham? It's an alternative Notts site which might be more to your taste. It has all the latest Notts news but without the arguments. I view it regularly, but only post occasionally. It's a good site with lots of info and a community feel although a bit tame for me, but it might be what you're looking for from a Notts County board.
