    I think majority of supporters will be impressed when announced, fingers crossed.

    In terms of Doyle, I believe he’s played far more games than he expected. He’s wants to coach, but not straight to management.

    I’m not sure how well the owners know the uk managers who would be a right fit etc, obviously with the data they have they’ll know a lot but doesn’t there stats focus more on players?? I’d like to think they have there own man who they’ve known previously or had conversations with when they first started the idea of football ownership. Hopefully they’ve put a lot of thought into this as some have already said, it’s there biggest test as Notts owners yet. (First post long time reader 10+ years)

    Wellens, was he at Oldham n Salford? He was at Salford, a ****in nob by all accounts. I know someone who played under him

    Oh man - dare we get excited? The promise of something new normally ends in tears - the exceptions (in my life time) being Sir Jimmy, John Barnwell, Neil, Big Sam, Sven (And Charlie) and Cotterell.....
