The way that I look at it, they are professional footballers. Short term pain for long term gain.
To lose, what is it, 13 games at home is a bloody disgrace. Couldn’t even hold on for an undeserved point.

I’m not going to watch any more this season. Sorry guys & gals but I cannot invest any more time in this. To not have a shot on target against a team with the worst away record in the league is a joke.

If some were too nervous then they are in the wrong profession.

Only one play (Johansson) came out of the game with any credit & if we had lost three or four nil we couldn’t have complained.

This is as bad as I’ve felt since we got relegated to Division 4 for the first time in 1973. It’s the hope that gets you.

Thing is, the better players will be off and it’s the fans left with it.
    I hate football

But so tired that we couldn’t rustle up a single shot on target?

Our keeper man of the match, their keeper could have got out the deck chair.

Has anybody else noticed how many times our players lose out in tussles for the ball. It's as though they're not balanced properly when tackling. That's got nothing to do with tiredness and everything to do with technique.

MR seems to have built his forward line in the mould of himself, small and mobile and even then we conceded a goal from a free kick to the very same player we did the same against at their place. Frusbloodytrating is one word to describe it.
Minus Wing, we had nobody on the ball with necessary quality to break through the lines. Their midfield was far too dynamic for us. Needed Barlaser to get on the ball as it was a footballing midfield rather than a battling one. Wasn't a game for Wiles, not enough guile. Couldn't feed the front two to feet so we end up hoofing and we know how that goes. Add in the mental and physical fatigue and you get the tripe attacking 'threat' we posed.

Something that a defensive coach could put right?

Remember our manager and assistant manager were both forwards in their playing career, both not what you would call good tacklers

Highlights just how tired. We couldn't even get close. Nothing sticking up top, no runners when we did get flick ons. They had the legs to close and just not let us get anywhere near creating a good chance. It does sound damning and it is but that's why, I think.

Most of the problems seem to be in midfield battles for the ball. We lose out and off the opposition go on another attack.
I'm not just talking about tonight, it happens in most games
