I'd just like to thank you for the many years that you have served as our moderator, Swale. I can imagine at times it's a thankless task.

I echo these thoughts.

I don't have a problem with Laddo personally but he does seem to be at the core of almost every single thread that gets derailed. even on occasion when he's not actually contributing to it! The forum has always been able to deal with and survive controversial posts and political spats over the years, but for some reason it can't handle Laddo.

The V!t@| forum is still up and running so I suggest everybody google it, bookmark it and migrate over there if Mad does get closed down.

It's a little surprising and sad to read Swale's post this morning but on reflection you can't blame him it's a thankless job with needless hassle.

I'd like to thank Swale for all his time, contribution and efforts on NCM, if he doesn't change his mind he will be missed. Good poster, good guy.

It's not all bad hopefully Swale's decision combined with the event JOB post match interview ("They know what they are mate") will allow enough reflection from the half dozen including myself to change moving forward. Those two things plus this thread should be enough to at least temporarily see less of the O/T personal petty waffles which are so unpopular with everyone bar those 6 mentioned.


As for Pedro's latest lengthy rant, no detailed further response needed from me as it's a perfect illustration of what he brings to the table.

The brief and damning comments so far from bystanders says it all.

I can remember when this used to be a football orientated discussion board, when everyone got on and no petty quables. Good people have left for this reason.

He has admitted that he enjoyed the arguing. Why do you think he started them? It was for his own enjoyment.
Or do you believe it was because for the good of the board because he said that's what it was for honestly just take a minute to digest the info.

I bring truth to the table whether people want to see it is up to them.
Try reading the handbag thread to see what bystanders think of your good self.
I'm sure your platitudes are most welcome but if you had listened to swales and took your arguments to handbags he wouldnt be at his wits end by now.
Oh and a minor point if you had let him manage the board instead of butting in with your so called mission this board would be fine.

The instigator or the responder...most people seem to blame me elite or navy and ignore the passive aggressive because someone uses a naughty word.

Swale did offer a solution to the problem of petty personal squabbles. He set up a special thread and asked us all to take personal arguments there. If we had all done as Swale asked, those who didn't want to read them didn't have to. Threads would be uncluttered, everyone would be happy.

I tried to use it several times, but you flatly refused to do as Swale requested. You said you enjoy making other posters look silly, but you insisted on doing it on football threads rather than where the board moderator asked you to do it.

Doesn't ncfcog have a forum on his site? If the worst happens we could migrate there, it would be good to let a proper Notts fan have the traffic rather than a chain!
