The weird thing Alto, is that I wish we could do that ourselves more often. It doesn't make it right, but its disgraceful when the so called bigger and better opposition teams keep doing it and getting away with it.
The youtube commentator Benjamin Bloom kept saying the phrase s-housery, on a few occasions he described it as "thats a bit of s-housery tactics there from Swansea!". Hes an absolute neutral fan is Ben, but he was definitely right in saying that.

Its a shame that most pundits/commentators don't tell it as it is instead of talking around it and giving us bollox dialogue just so they can keep taking the big money that Sky/MOTD and others pay them, I call them leeches, and as for so called professional players cheating their professional colleagues ? its just a sad game all around now.

To be fair Alto, they made a right idiot out of Lacazette on MOTD after his screeching and rolling around antics at Turf Moor. I'm surprised he didn't sue them.

Good to see you back by the way.

A classic game in league 2 tonight as VC has already mentioned, Forest green succumbing to Newport after 90 mins plus extra time with the aggregate lead changing several times, one goal scored by a 42 year old. Much better to watch something like that than what we have been watching recently.

We are all taking a big interest in Newport down here- even Cardiff fans. I watched the whole game and it was fantastic to watch,in shocking conditions. We’re hoping both Welsh clubs can win their respective finals and give Welsh football a boost for next season. Going to be interesting.

It's not many years ago we were staying with some friends at their house in Stroud. For lunch one day we drove a couple of miles up the road to a pub, in a little village called Nailsworth. We had a walk round the village and I was surprised to see in the window of a second-hand book shop, 'The History of Forest Green FC', I pointed it out to my mate and wondered what it was doing there, 'probably because their ground is just a couple of hundred yards away', he said. I had no idea, I never knew they played in a little village on the edge of the Cotswolds, I thought they played in a suburb of London, or somewhere like that.

I remember we played Newport at home on the last day of season 80-81, and we were in with a chance of the Third Division title, along with Rotherham.
It brings back good memories so I do sort have a liking for Newpy County Fc.

Nice little place Nailsworth.Visited once and had a surprise when we passed the ground.Always been my favourite football quiz question.
"Which team, other than Port Vale, does not have their town name in their title and where do they play".

Went there last season to see FGR beat Billericay Town( our son’s local team, whom i’ve taken an interest in) 4-0 in an FA Cup tie. Remember receiving a warm friendly welcome at this Eco Friendly green club. The chairman obviously believes that their future vision is the way to go. You can only buy veggie stuff at the club too. Bit of a culture shock for those fans that are carnivorous !!
