I agree, some good play. Back three and Francis look good. Taylor has been poor with his end product, and Woots not really in the game

    Wooton!

Has to score, easier to miss. He misses too many of those type of chances

If all you’re chasing is the playoffs then Wootton is your man. If you fancy a tilt at the title then I’m not so sure.

When was the last time he scored in an away game? Missing sitters in those tight games against the poorer teams is definitely not what you want.

It’s all a balance innit. Could we find someone more clinical than Wootton? Yes, probably quite easily. Could we find someone more clinical than Wootton who also improves us as a team? Much more difficult. They might even score less than he does, because he’s so important to the way we play and create chances. I think Rodrigues and Roberts benefit massively from having him in the team.

Yeah fair enough. I suppose we’ll know more about the thinking when we see the calibre of the bloke we’re supposed to be signing.

I find it hard to believe that what Stockport and Wrexham have done in the transfer market hasn’t affected our planning a bit.

I notice the NHR commentator pronouncing Nemane's first name as Arran. I keep hearing Aaron being pronounced almost always as Arron/Arran/Aran in recent years. Is this a mistake or just an alternative pronunciation that's come into use? Which is right for Nemane?
